Introduction
We hear many cases of accidental deaths or injuries that take place in the schools. However, such accidents can be easily avoided by taking preventive measures. It is therefore necessary to keep in mind the safety of the child. Safety at Preschools is the most vital part of the organization as it involves the safety of the school name also.
Precautions for the child’s safety at the preschools
Do not allow any unknown person to enter into the premises of the school unless with the permission of the staff. Keep all the doors locked when the kids are in the school. Do not provide any handles on the outside of the door to prevent the opening of the door from outside.
Many schools request the parents of the children to provide the authority with the photographs of people who come to pick up the child. Preschools should install smoke detectors and fire extinguishers in the premises of the schools. The preschool plans should be designed with an emergency exit in such cases of emergency.
The concerned staff is regularly trained with the latest developments regarding the safety at the preschools. Plug boards or the electrical openings must be covered with the caps that are available in the market. The furniture in the preschool should be designed keeping in mind the safety of the children. The exterior portion of the pieces of furniture should be smooth and should be painted to avoid any accidents. The playing area provided for the children, should be away from the parking areas. Do not allow any child to go out of the main gate when they are on the ground.
All the preschools take extra efforts in taking care of all the children. Ssafety at the preschools is very important as all these small children are unaware of the results of their actions. It is the schools responsibility to ensure the child’s safety for the proper development of its children.
